Criminal defense: Alleged break-in leads to burglary charge

The moment an officer places a person under arrest, the accused individual may start thinking about how to handle criminal charges. This line of thinking is understandable and likely beneficial because exploring criminal defense options is often necessary when charged with a crime. Of course, finding the right strategies does not have to be done alone.

One man in Tennessee is likely considering his defense options as well as how to obtain help with his case after recently being taken into custody. Reports stated that police officers went to a grocery store due to the alarm at the store going off. They reportedly found that someone had broken into the store from the back and taken the cash register. It was noted that officers obtained evidence from the scene that led them to a 33-year-old man as a suspect.

It was not detailed what type of evidence the officers found or why it pointed to the man as a suspect. Nonetheless, officers arrested him, and he allegedly stated that he took part in the break-in. As a result of the situation, the man was charged with burglary and had been released from custody at the time of the report on a $10,000 bond.

This serious ordeal will likely stay on the man’s mind as he awaits court dates and other events related to his case. Working on his criminal defense may allow him to feel productive as well as give him an idea about what possible outcomes he may face. Gaining information from local Tennessee legal resources could allow him to feel more knowledgeable and in control.
