Drug charges result after detectives search home

Some people may seem like magnets for trouble. It is not uncommon for individuals who have faced criminal charges in the past to find themselves in similar predicaments later. Unfortunately, if an individual has been convicted and faces additional drug charges later, more severe penalties could result.

One man in Tennessee is likely hoping to find the most effective way to handle criminal charges recently brought against him. Reports indicated that undercover detectives conducted a search of the man’s home after obtaining a warrant. Details on the overall investigation and what evidence led to the approval of the warrant were not given in the report. Nonetheless, the search allegedly resulted in the discovery of heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and weapons.

The man, who was reported as being a convicted felon, was taken into custody on multiple charges. Those charges include possession of meth for resale, possession of heroin for resale and possession of a firearm in the commission of a drug felony. It was noted that the man was still in custody at the time of the report after not meeting a $105,000 bond.

Though this Tennessee man has apparently faced criminal allegations in the past, he may still have questions about how to approach these new drug charges. He may have learned some information from his previous cases and could have a better idea of what to expect during the legal proceedings. Still, it may benefit him to remember that he can gain information on his defense options and prepare as best as possible for the case ahead.
